Texas-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist Tanner Usrey pairs straight-shot storytelling with country grit, rock 'n' roll energy, and Americana eloquence. As such, he channels a classic spirit from a deeply personal perspective. Inspired by everyone from George Strait, Tom Petty, and Lynyrd Skynyrd to his favorite band, Whiskey Myers, Usrey cut his teeth playing gigs across Texas before launching onto the national scene with his self-written and independently released Medicine Man EP in 2019.
In November 2023, Tanner released his debut album, Crossing Lines, via Atlantic Records, featuring breakout songs including "Beautiful Lies" with Ella Langley and "Take Me Home." His music has also soundtracked episodes of Yellowstone, Landman, Special Ops: Lioness, and Fire Country, as well as the 2024 summer blockbuster Twisters.
Always on the road, Tanner Usrey has opened shows for Koe Wetzel, Dierks Bentley, The Red Clay Strays, and Shane Smith & The Saints, while also performing at major festivals including Boston Calling, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Stagecoach, and Lollapalooza.
In addition to supporting Dylan Gossett and Cody Jinks on their 2025 tours, Tanner is headlining his own Bad Love Tour in cities across America in support of his sophomore album, These Days, produced by Dave Cobb and released on July 11 via Atlantic Records.
